Disney Vacation

Disney was our very first trip together.

We decided a quick trip to Disneyland would be the perfect first trip. I had never been to Disneyland, just Disneyworld. It had been years for Justin. It would be a quick road trip and we would hit both Disney parks.

It isn’t too far of a drive from Phoenix. We took a long weekend and escaped the heat to have some fun at Disney. I was excited to go to Cars Land, which had just opened. I later regretted that when we spent hours in line for a two-minute ride. I think we spent half the day in the Cars line. When we went back the next day we were going to do the fast pass but the line for that would have taken hours. Needless to say, we just skipped Cars the second time.

The first time I rode Tower of Terror, I loved it. LOVED it. I liked the entire set up, the story, everything. We sat in the back row and I was in the seat next to the wall. It was fantastic to see the view from the top. The next day when we hoped on I thought I was going to die. I sat in the front row, on the aisle. I had flashbacks from when the elevator I was in dropped. I couldn’t stop screaming and did not enjoy it. I refused to go on it again.

I would love to go back, especially for a runDisney event. I am partial to either Star Wars or Avengers.

These photos were done with my Canon point and shoot. I wouldn’t take my DSLR to Disney. That would be a pain. But I truly believe that photography should be present in our daily life. We should capture all the moments, big and small. We should make albums. We should look back and remember the good times and our loved ones. I always have a camera on me, either my cell phone or dslr. I want to remember everything. I want to look back in 30 years and see my loved ones having a fun time. Memories can fade but pictures can help keep them alive.

I hope you enjoyed a little peek into my life. I enjoy going on vacation, seeing new places and taking photographs (even if it’s not with a big, fancy camera).

What was your first trip with your significant other?
