So you own a small business and aren’t sure what I can help you with. The top three items are:
- Social Media
We all know consumers go online to check out businesses. You know you need a web presence. And you know customers want to see your product. Think of your website as a virtual storefront. When people walk up to a physical store do they want to see a disheveled mess or do they want to see clothes straightened, new items up front, and brightly lit displays? I know I’d much rather be able to easily find what I want and know how much it is. Having fantastic product photos and pictures of you on your website is only becoming more and more critical as we move more to an online society.
Everyone and their mom is on Facebook. Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and whatever the next one are THE places to be. You need to be posting photos that grab peoples attention. And you need a lot of them. A dark picture that is hard to see won’t get your clients excited. Showing the same image over and over gets boring. You need to share not just your products but you, your employees, and the business as well.
The first two areas focused on online places. But how else do you advertise? Do you have postcards you send clients? A monthly newsletter? Maybe you put flyers on community bulletin boards. How do you keep your ads fresh and attention-grabbing? You need photos!
Currently, I offer three basic tiers that are one and done, but I’m working on adding on-going monthly or quarterly options to keep your images current and updated. I’m also going to implement programs to help you plan, caption, and build your social media and another program to teach you how to take better photos, either with your cell phone or whatever camera you own! I want you to succeed and am always thinking of ways to help other small business owners.
